Today is the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio, and I’m sitting at my favorite poolside cafe, writing this love note to you.
As I was driving here, the phrase “spilling the astro tea” came to mind.
I’ve been contemplating the nature of this newsletter ever since I registered the domain a week (omg, has it only been a week!?) ago. What is a topic I can commit to writing to, to speaking on, month after month? Astrology was an obvious choice; it is my current favorite obsession and burgeoning career. 🌸
But I have a Sagittarius moon, it’s easy for me to lose interest and hop onto the next thing. That’s why my Substack is a graveyard of unfinished newsletters — it is my biggest creative regret. 🥲
Writing is something I want to commit to, but I’m terrified of.
This is my tiny, public commitment to say, “let’s try again.”
That’s where spilling the astro tea comes in. Throughout the years, the one consistent theme of my writing has been: my personal experiences. I treat everything like a f*cking blog. Blame it on my 3/5 profile in Human Design, but everything to me is a ~journey~ and my natural instinct is to bring EVERYONE along with me. Even though I was new at it, why did I create an IG page when I was still in Astrology school and start making content? Because that’s the only way to grow.
Hence, this Substack. I want to start synthesizing my personal experiences with Astrology, and sharing it with the world. 🧚♀️
I know that’s how I learn best. It’s my default state of making sense of the world.
And nothing brings me more joy than to know you’re here on this journey with me.
In this newsletter, which I will do my best to send at least twice a month, you can expect just one simple thing from me:
HONESTY. 🤍
I will write with authenticity, integrity, humor and truth. I won't shy away from the personal details — and I will do my best to illuminate (hindsight is 20/20!!) how certain transits and astrological events are unfolding for me.
