this Venus in Cancer, it feels extra good to spend on the people you love

Today, I woke up with the scattered bits of a poem writing itself in my head.

Half asleep, I stumbled to my desk, and scribbled it down:

          duvet covers
fresh cut flowers 💐
       the warm touch of 
                   a lover’s hand ––

Then I pulled up the chart of the day. Venus was on her last legs in Gemini.

She moves into Cancer later today.

D’oh! 🤦🏻‍♀️

No wonder I’m channeling poetry. It’s the season of divine love, baby! 💖
