love this reflection, Gwen. you captured the highs and lows of solo travel so clearly. it's the desire to lose yourself in a landscape, but also to be found within one. <3
I listened to your voiceover. This is truly powerful and yes, it is brave to step into the unknown. I love your honesty, and thanks for showing even a seasoned traveller can still wonder into the big existential questions. For what it's worth, your voice over was brilliant & I am so floored by how you can express yourself with ease when speaking about emotional experiences. I believe the voice over is like the music that accompanies the lyrics. Keep working your light 🕯️
🥹🥹🥹🥹 it is truly an honor to be in community with big-hearted, thoughtful, loving people like you. Thank you for opening your heart to my words. Thank you for seeing me 😭 I didn’t even realize how impactful a voiceover could be. You’ve encouraged me to step into the light more (perhaps a podcast in the distant future...?). So much love to you always my darling Chi 💜✨💐
Soo beautiful, felt like i was travelling with you 💖 solo trips are heavenly, profound and awakening - but also a reminder to never take companionship for granted EVER AGAIN. ✨✨
What a beautiful reflection of your journey, Gwen!! Your words brought me back to when I first left home to travel. I remember that loneliness quite well, and now reflecting on how far I've come in actually loving my own company more than the company of most other people—a huge 180. I liked what you said about how you will never take companionship for granted again. I feel that too (it sounds contradictory after my last statement, but it makes sense to me LOL), and the moments we are alone truly make the time with others that much more special. Here's to more travel in 2024!!!
I love that so much Kaitlyn – I was surprised too by how much I enjoy my own company now, and how much I loathed it in the past 🥺 but companionship is the other side of the coin that just makes everything so much sweeter!! YES! This reminds me so much of the Aries-Libra polarity I could scream 🤣 see you in 2024!! ;) 💋
Wow thank you so much for sharing so vulnerably Gwen 🤩 it sounds like Bali was exactly what you needed to come back home to yourself 🥰 from my Sag moon to yours, travel is part of who we are and that’s how we can connect with ourselves deeply. So, to more travel in 2024 💕

oh, Emily. I don't know how you managed to see me so clearly, so truly, with just a few sentences – but you did. ♥️
