My midheaven is in Pisces and Iām a writer. I always have been and have my B.A. in Communications, with a focus in Journalism. My day job isnāt writing, but my side job is. Iāve also started journaling regularly again.
I also have an Aries MC! A promise I made to myself (prolly about 7-9 years ago) was that I would go abroad again, and to treat that goal with fiery determination even if it took awhile. I just returned from a 5-week trip out of the country!! (Which I actually planned using my AstroMap lines.) Now I'm definitely in a place of "...Uh, so now what?" but it feels really good to have finally made it, and to have had a lot of my suspicions confirmed about how much I'd enjoy being in another part of the world.

Hi Gwen, first off I have to say Iāve been to subscribed to you for awhile now and every time I read your blog I feel so refreshed. Renewed even from your perspective on astrology and the way you enmesh it into life experiences.
2nd I STRONGLY resonate with following through on your desires even if they donāt go as planned. On Tuesday, I had already planned to go to a 90s themed cookout but as soon as I arrived there I had doubts on whether I should go. I ended up going and staying for a good amount of time. While it didnāt meet my expectations, Iām still proud that I followed through.

I LOVE that example. Itās often less about doing the thing itself and more about following through, isnāt it? Keeping those promises to ourselves. We never know how something might play out but as long as we commit to it, and see it through, weāre already winning. š„°š

My Pisces midheaven is finally coming around to true purpose. Having a mutable MC has been a wild ride through the abyss. Coming back to the flow of things is essential for me rather than getting stuck in the what-ifs. This was beautiful, Gwen. My Midheaven is in Pisces, and I felt such a *spark* of joy seeing āWriterā as the potential career. Iāve heard that said about my MC before, and it always feels so satisfying to me ā like a strong sense of wholeness ā since Iāve always been drawn to personal expression through writing; through articulating my imagination and intuition on the page. I have to be careful now ā especially knowing my midheaven ā not to be too prescriptive about it, and try to āmanufactureā my way toward my midheaven. I try to just rest in the assurance that Iām on the right path, and that I can lean into the things that feel right and good and natural to me āØ
Hi Jenna! YESSSSS! I was surprised when "Writer" flowed out of me for the potential career path, too. I think it's because of the interplay between Pisces MC and Gemini AC (at least, in Whole Sign) ā using Pisces's rich imagination and Gemini's way with words.
Totally agree with being mindful about this! I always prefer to use Astrology as a guide map, rather than a fixed path. Giving yourself permission to flow ć°ļø I think that's the most powerful use of your Pisces MC of all šš„°š«

In my own astrological studies recently it has come up several times that a good career for me may be Manager. Which I feel some resistance to, for some reason. Reading your letter made me want to reflect on this more and see if itās true resistance, or if itās listening to all the excuses in my head (youāre not knowledgeable enough to manage, you donāt need that responsibility, etc)

We often find it so hard to see ourselves clearly and rely on others' perception (or in the case of a Leo Midheaven, applause) to help us see if we're on the right track. ā”
P.S. I love that Manager came up! I resisted putting it as one of the potential career paths but this feels divinely orchestrated š«¶ Leo MCs make great managers because you are willing to work hard and share the spotlight when necessary. This is the hallmark of a leader :)
