Not only am I a huge Ted Lasso fan (and still not over that last episode), but I love a good metaphor--and you really did such a beautiful job putting it all together here. Letting Ted Lasso's teachings be a lesson in your own chapter of learning how to be seen publicly. I, too, have struggled with this as I *slowly* start to build my brand. It can feel so intimidating and overwhelming, but I'm right there in the arena with you, trying. <3
Living a life publicly is so very hard, especially if one's career calls for it. We are so happy to succeed publicly, but are terrified of failing on a large scale in front of hundreds of eyes. I know I'm terrified of it. I feel a large part of that is really because this world does not know how to create safe spaces to hold all outcomes with equal care and warmth.
Your commitment and passion towards astrology is so goddamn inspiring, Gwen. Congratulations. I'm so proud of you and so grateful that I get to read your words so often <3
Wow! Congrats on reaching 1000 followers, but more importantly: Congratulations for forging your way in this world and stepping into the arena. It takes courage to try and fail publicly (I speak from experience as an aspiring astrology novelist. Every rejection email feels like a very public failure 😅)
