Gwen, I absolutely LOVED reading this entire newsletter. It was so well articulated and thought out. Not only am I a huge Ted Lasso fan (and still not over that last episode), but I love a good metaphor--and you really did such a beautiful job putting it all together here. Letting Ted Lasso's teachings be a lesson in your own chapter of learning how to be seen publicly. I, too, have struggled with this as I *slowly* start to build my brand. It can feel so intimidating and overwhelming, but I'm right there in the arena with you, trying. <3

I'm not surprised you've reached 1000 followers by now, you really shine bright!

You felt the fear and did it anyway, with courage, presence and warmth. Congratulations on a massive win.

Ted Lasso really tugged at my heart strings - a true leader who understood with meaning of culture and vulnerability.

I have Leo in the 1st House and this Leo season has been interesting to say the least! Love your work 💕

Living a life publicly is so very hard, especially if one's career calls for it. We are so happy to succeed publicly, but are terrified of failing on a large scale in front of hundreds of eyes. I know I'm terrified of it. I feel a large part of that is really because this world does not know how to create safe spaces to hold all outcomes with equal care and warmth.

Your commitment and passion towards astrology is so goddamn inspiring, Gwen. Congratulations. I'm so proud of you and so grateful that I get to read your words so often <3

Sowmya I’m so sorry for my late reply!! Your point is so beautiful - “this world doesn’t know how to create safe spaces to hold all outcomes with equal care & warmth”. We are afraid to try not because we are afraid to fail, but because of the consequences of other people’s judgment. It makes me sad to think about!! Thank you for your thoughtful responses as always, I can’t wait to keep hearing from you in the comments section. So much love to you always 💗💗💗💗💗🥹

Wow! Congrats on reaching 1000 followers, but more importantly: Congratulations for forging your way in this world and stepping into the arena. It takes courage to try and fail publicly (I speak from experience as an aspiring astrology novelist. Every rejection email feels like a very public failure 😅)

Quick question:

Do you have any 11th house placements? I’m an 11th House Sun, and the themes you touched on in this article really resonate with me and feel 11th House in nature...

Thanks for sharing your story!

Hiiiiii! Omg, I squealed with joy when I read your comment 🤩 thank you so much!!! Astrology novelist – that may be one of the coolest things I've ever heard. Rooting for you through the rejections my dear. Keep going!!! 💫⚽️

Also, WOW you know as I was writing this I was like "this is so 11th house hahaha". I have Mars and Mercury in Aquarius! And my South Node is in the 11th house. So I feel a deep connection to Aquarian themes of belonging, society, progress 🥹 hehe thanks for your question 💛
