We’re officially one week into Aries season!!!! How are you feeling? ❤️🔥
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, kickstarting a brand new cycle. We are in the astrological new year! 🤩 From March 19 to April 19, we’ll embody the best traits of the Ram — initiative, passion, courage, and the willingness to try.
Where do you need to take the wheel in your own life? Where do you feel the first tendrils of spring, urging you to step up, to decide, to act? I wrote this last week:
Imagine for a second the amount of courage and grit it takes to be the first to do something. A seedling pushing against the dark, the soil, the surface — to break through. That is the energy that we are feeling now: that sense of newness, but also the fear. The terror. No one talks enough about how much it takes to start.

This Aries season is not like the others. We have a few special astrological events coloring our experience:
We’ve entered eclipse season 🌀 On March 25, we had a south node lunar eclipse at 5º Libra; and on April 8, we’ll have a north node solar eclipse at 19º Aries. Eclipses are a time of unexpected change. We’ll be experiencing big shifts in the Aries and Libra-ruled houses of our chart. More on that below.
We’ll have a Mercury Retrograde ❤️🔥 Ahhh, the infamous Mercury moonwalk. Our messenger planet will be backsliding in Aries from April 1–25, adding some spice (read: chaos) to our communications, transportation and tech. Mercury Rx in a Fire sign can get a little… unpredictable. Pro Tip: take an extra beat before jumping to any conclusions, double-triple check your emails, and meditate, a lot.
us for all of April: North Node in Aries ♈️ Our north node has been in Aries since July 2023. We’ve been learning hard truths on independence vs. codependence, striking the balance between our personal and relational needs. This is our first Aries season since the shift, so these themes will be feeling more embodied. Pay attention to what comes up!
This eclipse harkens back to mid October 2023, when we had our solar eclipse in Libra. Back then, I was grappling with deep-rooted relational issues in my 7-year relationship — I remember having dinner with my sister, tears streaking twin tracks down my cheeks.

Just two weeks after that, on the Full Moon, I started swing dancing 💃 Learning a partner dance has been the single most transformative decision I’ve made in the past 5 months. I’ve learned to soften into being a good ‘follow’, embody flexibility, make new friends, and build a life, identity and community outside of my partner.
In an astrological twist of fate, I returned to the same place I had my first taste of Lindy Hop — the weekend before this eclipse. Exactly five months apart. You can’t make this stuff up. 🥹
